A bit about Dan

I am passionate about creating moments in peoples lives where they can interact with something beautiful, meaningful, and/or possibly profound.

During the day I am the “Visual Strategist” for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. There I develop creative ways of communicating, and work to transform complex concepts into meaningful stories that can be universally understood. My work is seen in public spaces, art museums, and is in outer space.

After doing the dishes, reading bedtime stories to my kids, and spending time with my wife, I work on other creative problem solving projects around the world. I am currently working on various installations for SIAS University in China.

In 2002 I graduated valedictorian from the graphic design program at Art Center College of Design. In 2012 I was select as "One of the most interesting people in Los Angeles" by the LA Weekly. I currently live in South Pasadena with my wife and three kids.
